3 Solway Dry Cider / Marra Monster Mash Thanet Cider and Perry Fest 08. The only one they didn’t have an ABV for. Some mint, some tannin on this, bit of shoe polish. Bit of yeast. Yes, some cider apple, but a bit muted on the fruit. Lots of mint all the way through. Some good tannin and dryness. Saturday, October 18, 2008

3.4 Solway Medium Sweet Cider A Mes rate: Handpump at the Pembury. A semi hazy bright yellow gold colour. Quite dry for a medium but still with a high level of sweetness. Decent vanilla and oaky notes. A good balance of sweet red apples and a lingering oaky dry finish with some eventual vanilla. The tangy sweetness is just right and the lovely clean mouthfeel make for a pretty good all rounder. Sunday, July 20, 2008

1.3 Solway Medium Sweet Cider Bag in a box at Haddenham Beer Festival, 05-07-08 Pour hazy mid golden colour and the nose gave no indication of the shocker that was to come. I can honestly say that this was the first cider that I’ve had that tasted of boiled eggs, I passed it around our group and it was unanimously slated I’m afraid to say, I had to pour it, it was just awful.
