Pito 1.8
Bottle at home whilst watching Colbert. his was pretty rough honestly. Manky sweet wort aroma. Many sweet wort flavour. Subsides a bit as you go on and begins serving it’s purpose. Pretty bad though.

1795 Original Czech Lager (Budejovické Pivo) 2.2
33cl can from Calle, Tallinn. Pours clear golden with not much head to speak of. Mild grainy and malty aroma with cooked vegetables and grassy notes. Moderate sweet with low flavour intensity and a fairly light bitterness. Fairly drinkable, but not close to a decent Czech světlý.

Samson Černý Tmavé Výčepní (Dark) 3.2
Bouteille de 500ml achetée dans une SAQ. Dégustée le 24 novembre 2011. Bičre couleur "thé foncé", limpide. Peu effervescente, bulles moyennes. Mousse trčs peu, col beige crčme, mince et éphémčre. Odeur aigre. Trčs douce, assez sucrée, peu amčre. Saveur un peu aigre (cerises) mais pas trop, un peu boisée. Bien équilibrée, rafraichissante, facile ŕ boire, juste assez corsée.

Praga Premium Pils 2.8
50 cl can from SB. Clear pale golden with an off white head. Agree with Omhper about the aroma. Hay, tea and grass is pretty spot on. Taste is fairly dry with grass and some iron, citrus and slight floral and fruity notes plus some light butterscotch and hay. Marked bitter aftertaste. Medium to light body, soft carbonation and dry texture. Fairly drinkable, but nothing I will come back to.

Kiedyś piłem go dużo, bo był lekki i nie śmierdział. Teraz chyba raczej nie ma co opisywać. Normalny pils.

Praga Dark Lager 2

Praga Dark Lager 3.4
Bottle, 33cl. Pours dark amber, and settles dark in the glass with an beige head. Sweet roasted, mildly burnt malt aroma with ripe, dark fruits, coffee and caramel. Flavour follows the nose, initial sweet, roasted malt, raisins, figs, coffee and milk chocolate. Ends dry, slightly bitter. Light-medium body, silky smoothness on the palate, perhaps just a bit watery.

Praga Premium Pils 2.7
Bottle from Lidl, Sowerby Bridge. Golden with an extremely thin head. A decent pilsner with stated ingredients in this respect, albeit a little dry tasting despite being a very palatable beer.

1795 Original Czech Lager (Budejovické Pivo) 3
Light golden color, creamy white head, grass, floral, sweet. Light and bubbly with a dry finish.

Praga Premium Pils 1.7
Tiszta borostyán szín. Habja alig, gyorsan elillan.

Dianello 0.9
Bottle - Clear pale straw colour, small white head disappears in a wink. Weird rusty nose with some dusty grains and cardboard. Empty taste with weak notes of cereals, some corn and yeast. Thin body, medium carbonation, watery mouthfeel, dry finish. Forget it.

Praga Dark Lager 3
Aroma of dark malts, toast. Light body. Thin. Sweetish malty taste. Toast, roast. Minimal acidic. Low bitterness. Drinkable.

Praga Premium Pils 2
Reddish gold beer with a medium foamy bright white head. Fairly tepid nose of wet cardboard, mulch, and cereal grain. Flavor is pretty standard Euro trash pilsner with a light corn syrup base topped by a flaccid hop aftertaste that goes nowhere. Good for a hot day at the beach if you drink it quickly and don’t think about it.

Praga Premium Pils 2.3

Praga Premium Pils 2.7
500ml bottle. Golden colour with minimal head. Aroma is metallic and citrus. The taste is surprisingly good, medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Recognisably Czech in style and above average for a supermarket lager.

Praga Premium Pils 3.3
500 ml bottle served cold. Honey coloured body, white head. Lemon aroma. Citric hops, bready malt, clean palate. Spot on style wise. Not too gassy. I am very fond of cheap, good quality, unpretentious quaffable lagers like this.

Pito 2.6
Bottle from random Tesco in Brno. Merciless brutal lightstruck aroma right off the bat. Clear golden colour, almost no head to speak of. Actually once you get past the lightstruck this could be one of the better nonalcoholic beers. Yes, it has dull metallic bitterness, but so do all the others. There is a hint of actual malt and hops in the aroma and the taste though. You could do much worse. I wonder how this could taste out of a brown bottle. A little step for economic department at Budějovice, but a big leap for drinkers.

1795 Original Czech Lager (Budejovické Pivo) 3.4
Almost opaque, dark brown color with a copper hue and tons of activity. Slightly creamy light brown 2.5 finger head lasting around 6 minutes with average legs. Faint aromas and well intensified flavors of caramel, molasses, fruits, nuts, herbal spices. Strong sweet taste of toffee and dark fruits with a little spicy sourness, feeling slightly roasted and earthy. Creamy milky light body with good carbonation. Balanced finish ending with a sweet molassy and smoky dark berries mouth coat. Overall : Above average craft; the flavors are nice and well balanced but it’s missing a little freshness, slightly metallic, and a bit too thin.

Praga Premium Pils 3.2
Bottle. Lidl. Orangey gold. Keeps a decent head, in a nucleated Camden glass. Nose has clean malts. Lemon hop. Some tangy herb. Taste is light sweet. Decent, lemon hop bitterness. Light bodied. Some dryness on the finish. Drank this really cold, after leaving it in the freezer too long, and thought it pretty decent.

1795 Original Czech Lager Dark (Budejovické Pivo) 2
50 cl can@home in snifter@approx 6 degrees.Pours dark brown with nice beige head with good retention and a little lacing. Aroma sweet with notes of caramel, roasted malt and caramel malt. Taste is cloyingly sweet with notes of artificial sweetener, malt and hints of coffee. No hops, no bitterness to give it one redeeming feature. Low carbonation, sweet mouthfeel. Pretty horrible actually. Took a couple of tasting sips and used the rest for cooking!

Praga Dark Lager 2.1
From green bottle poured into glass. Deep amber with small head. It has a very sweet taste similar to unfermented dark beer wort. Taste is of caramel and hint of chocolate. It has a syrupy impression yet it is thin and rather bland. It needs some character.

Sankt Jaro Černý Ležák (Schwarz) 2.6
Lahev: Deep amber coloured, small stable off-white head; sweet toasted malt and coffee in the nose; sweetish flavour with a very slight bitterness; lingering and a bit more bitter, but still pretty sweet, coffeeish and malty finish. Velmí sladké pivo, žádná sláva…
