4.1 Northville Brewing Black Label BBC (Bourbon Barrel Cider) I’m not a big cider person, but this matched exactly as what the style should be. A tiny touch of extra booziness for the bba notes. 2.8 Northville Brewing Dark Side of the Cyser On draft at HopCat in Ann Arbor. In prep for Rare Day tomorrow. The pour is a clear mud brown color with some hints of ruby or a dark gold. The aroma is not very good. Don't know what a Cyser is supposed to smell or taste like, but I'm not a fan of this. It's got a strong medicinal funkiness to it and kind of reminds me of a Belgian yeast or wheat. The flavor isn't much better. There is a ton of Belgian yeast and a good black berry. No real barrel and it's a little thinner. The aftertaste is lingeringly Belgian and I'm not a big fan ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Thursday, November 12, 2015 | |

3.1 Northville Brewing Center Street Snake Bite From notes. Enjoyed at the MGB Summer Beer Fest. The pour on this is pretty decent. It’s a foggier golden color with a decent white head and no lace. The aroma is surprisingly wheaty. There is a light fruit on the back side of it, but for the most part, that wheat is just dominating over everything else. The flavors mimic this. There is a little more wheat here, but it’s not the best. The mouth feel is thin and watery with a lack of carbonation and a lingeringly wheaty, not so good aftertaste.
