The aroma of fruits and some caramel. Perhaps of the oldness of the bottle, 10 years at of date, flavors of musty. The taste some bitterness, caramel and some sweet fruitness. The aftertaste is a little bitter and dry with notes of fruits. jbrus (4916), Delft, Netherlands

Over 10 years old so no surprise some oxidization and dust is found in both aroma and flavour. But underneath all this there was certainly an original quality detectable. Hopefully I find a younger bottle some day. darkguardian (506), Florida, USA

Huge thanks to Daknole for sharing this incredibly rare beer. I think it needs to be understood that stacked up against the 12 this is not as amazing but it will probably score higher from me because its the most amazing 6% beer I’ve ever had. Pours a ruddy brown, bottle was a gusher so a huge creamy off white head stayed around for a good 15 mins. Nose is crazy, with lovely bready yeast very similar to Bernardus 8. Perfectly carbonated and with no oxidization and I think it should be noted this beer is OVER 10 YEARS OLD! Christ! The body on this beer is probably one of the best of any beer I have ever head. Its incredibly full but not overwhelming and amazingly complex for such a small beer. This kicks the ass of many imperial stouts. Huge bready yeast notes up front and caramel covered raisins with a bit of brown sugar and cherry in the finish. Lingers for a long while on the back of your tongue. Some chocolate comes out as it warms. Simply stunning.
