I noticed this a couple weeks ago and just assumed it was a temporary glitch, but I tried to edit the memo line of my want list again today and it is still not working for me. Anyone else experiencing this?

I notice a few duplicate entries in "Places" but there is no option to alert this in the "edit" function. If somebody has this power, beermail me at your convenience.

Places - Twitter Feeds?

I noticed that when entering places you can also enter their twitter feed. Is this being used for something right now or is there plans to have a space on the place profiles to show their latest twitter postings? That would be great as I know places use Twitter to post updated tap lists, events, etc.

Congrats to a great guy on finally hitting the big one! Good to see the beer rated was a pretty solid one too, 3 F Oude Geuze. Glad to have shared many of those 1000 beers over the past couple of years, and cheers on your second child to be born later this year!

Flavored ciders not on site?

So a local joint in MI has a bunch of ciders that have other fruit added in the process to the apples... I recently entered them in and they were deleted... Wondering what the rationale is if it is a cider. We allow brewers to do this, but not for cider? Anyhow, wanted to start a discussion and see what the opinions were.

RateBeer Winter Gathering Orlando Information

March 11th through 14th! Be there for the bottled release of Cigar City Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout. Be there for the Grand Tasting at Redlight Redlight. Be there, because I said so! Here is information about flights, hotels, car rental, maps and the entire itinerary. The more people we get, the better this will be. Start making plans now! Google Docs links for RateBeer Winter Gathering Orlando information I will follow up in month or so about getting $25 for the bus trip. A local distributor has committed to providing beer for the bus ride, and we may get some money contributed, too. If so, we will figure out something to do with any over charge. The bus ride is over $1000 total, so I will need pre-payment when the time comes. Hopefully this isn’t a problem. This bus trip will be epic. This entire weekend will be epic. See you all in Florida!
