Although ABC ceased brewing in the 1930s it continued as a pub company and had ABC branded beers brewed elsewhere until taken over by Allied (now Carlsberg UK) in 1972. Brewing of ABC brand then moved to the Ind Coope Burton brewery and subsequently to Tetley in Leeds. |
