The beer, a Bohemian-style pilsner, was brewed April 16 at Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling (makers of the fantastic La Bestia Aimable). Pitching in on the project were San Antonio brewpubs Blue Star, on whose traditional pils the El Cinco is based, and Freetail, which should soon be announcing whether it will be expanding to Houston, along with Faust Brewing of New Braunfels, represented by Ray Mitteldorf, formerly of Two Rows in Rice Village. Water was provided by the Dodging Duck in Boerne.
