This amber coloured bitter is brewed using pale, crystal, amber and wheat malts, further enhanced by the addition of no.3 invert block sugar which has the character of candy. The recipe calls for a blend of Progress, Fuggle aAnd Golding hops, with the resultant beer being dry hopped in cask using Styrian Golding hops at 4oz per barrel.
Tasting notes: An amber coloured bitter designed with the session drinker in mind. The use of Styrian Golding dry hops gives this beer a delightful floral nose, whetting the appetite for a balanced palate with hints of citrus fruit and malt. The slightly dry, bitter finish always has the customers coming back for more.
