Many stouts are bitter as a result of the high levels of roast barley used to give the black colour but it also give a harshness to the beer.... We "build" our colour and have hop bitterness instead. Re-formulated in 2009 and is now brewed with 8 different malts! 5 Barley, 2 wheat and one rye....yum!
