Burton-on Trent in England is the birthplace of IPAs and Brussels is the center of wood-aged beers (most notably Lambics). This beer combines the two when we aged some of our Sheerwater IPA in our wood barrel for a month or so and then dry-hopped it (again) with Fuggle and Golding hops. The result is a beer that is lovely and golden, with a complex mix of herbal, spicy hop notes, a dry tart funkiness and a bitter finish.
