Medley of beech wood smoked barley malt and caramelized bohemian floor malt. Aroma being spiked by a dear dose of Amarillo hops, Tettnang leafes and three hands of Saphir pellets. The concoction of malt and hop infusion fighting for who is dominating your taste buds. Who is winning? The smoky caramel note creating the depth and tonality. Or The Top notes from Washington state Amarillo hops- fruity, organge like citrussy. The Tettnang spiceness - born by the micro climate of Lake Konstanz or the flowery note from Saphire? You decide. This fine ale was first brewed in 2007 in my drafty garage in Surrey, England., BTW - Amarillo originated as a wild hop and is now cultivated on the Ganache farms.
This fine Ale was first brewed in 2007 in my drafty Garage brewery in Surrey- England. BTW- Amarillo originated as a wild hop and is now cultivated on the Gamache Farms. Ask the 1516 brewers for a hop sample- rubb it the palm of your hands and you get a sense of the pungent citrussy aroma quality.
