French/Belgian Farmhouse Beer
Brewed to pair yeast notes with hoppy ones. Sorachi Ace, used in dry hopping this beer, gives herbal and sherbet-y aromas to brighten the subtle bready malt qualities. Saison yeast gives orange peel and dried fruit aroma, with dry lingering finish.
Saison is a French/Belgian farmhouse style of beer where the yeast is the star. True to Weird Beard traditions we like to pair the yeast notes with some hoppy ones to create this summer’s day in a glass. It is a dry beer but has enough fruity sweetness to make it very moreish. Should be served cold and well carbonated, you will never see this beer in cask.
