Named in honor of the hippie house at Denison University where brewer Greg first started working with hops and malt -- over a wood-burning stove, no less. Homestead is a classic Northwest pale ale, with hop aroma and flavor from Simcoes and Centennials; a hefty dose of Vienna malt helps provide some medium-bodied balance.
