With this beer, the brewers took their massively popular stout offering, The Darkness, and aged it in an oak whisky barrel. The first batch through the barrels was called Make’R Dark. This batch, the “Lite” version, is the second to make its way through the casks. What the drinker ends up with is a very easy-todrink, enjoyable stout with light hints of oak and whisky that complement the beer immensely. The beers pours completely opaque with a thick, lasting tan head. Its scent is of roasted grains. Flavours present include deep roasted notes, chocolate, coffee and slight oak as well as whisky undertones.
