Common descriptors are
Slightly naughty, a little grungy with a lot of character, yes we are talking about Newtown. This easy drinking, copper coloured ale uses an eclectic mix of ingredients and brewing techniques to create a beer like no other for a suburb with no equal. A traditional English yeast produces a mild bitterness with a floral edge, partial filtration gives a slightly dirty edge and a touch of carbonation at the end of the boil allows the hops to express their sweetness. It’s an unusual experience, but one you will be drawn to over and over again , like King Street on a Saturday night.
