Once a year, during the fall hop harvest, brewers have the opportunity and privilege of using fresh picked hops to create a unique beer that captures the true essence and character of the farmers year long efforts! These three beers each represent a different variety of Michigan hops (Centennial, Cascade and Chinook) grown locally by our hard working friends at Hop Yards of Kent in Rockford. Additionally, al three beers were brewed with the exact same grain bill of barley and wheat in an attempt to showcase the individual characteristics of the hop varieties. 100% of the grain was grown and malted by our friends at Michigan Malt Company in Shepherd, MI! We are proud to present these three creations that are 100% pure Michigan grown flavors!!! Some tasting notes on the hop varieties… Chinook (ABV: 6.5%) – Balanced bitterness. Tropical fruit, mango, citrus and piney.
