Goats (Cabras) have been a symbol of strength (fuerte’) in many cultures for centuries. In German, many beers featuring a goat as part of their marketing have represented the great strong beers of Einbck since the 14th century. In that time, the beers of Einbeck were regarded around the whole of Europe as the finest in the brewing world. Our take on the classic bock features a straightforward yet intense rush of biscuit and cookies in the nose. The flavor is all malt, chewy glorious malt. Rich and doughy, the beer finishes with just enough bitterness to avoid any cloying quality. A delightful take on a cold-weather classic.
