The Hussar is inspired by our Polish ancestor who fought in the battle of Vienna alongside king Jan Sobieski. Dressed in suits of armor with giant metallic ’wings’, hussars struck fear in their opponents and were widely known to be part of the most deadly calvary on the European continent at the time. In his honor we brew this golden, oak smoked wheat ale with a floral hop bitterness and noble aroma from Polish hop varieties.
