Native The 11 (Eleven) Brown Ale

Native Brewing Company
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Beer style: Brown Ale
Ref: ratebeer.com Jun2024

Common descriptors are
The Eleven Brown Ale is a smooth Dark ale with hints of caramel and roasted nuts that are a result of the careful formulation of the malts. A slight hop bitterness balances the sweetness of the malts and provides the complement that makes the Eleven... one better than the other Brown Ale’s out there. Why the Eleven name ? It all started with the test batches when we were first conceiving of our company 10 years ago. We brewed many batches trying to perfect what the Florida consumer was looking for. All the bottles were anonymously numbered so that we were the only ones who knew which beer was going to be our first. The bottles with the number 11 were the resounding favorite. A step up and away from the light lagers that dominated the South Florida market at the time. A light tasting dark beer that to this day will surprise even the most steadfast light beer drinker.
Previously called Fresh Beer The 11.
