First Brewed as a Collaboration with Adrian Chapman from Saltaire Brewery & soon to be Head Brewer at Wishbone Brewery. Stormy Point is a Cascadian style dark ale, that has ale the character of a west coast IPA but its black. hopped with massive amounts of US Magnum, Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra, Galaxy & Experimental 366 Hops. Stormy Point has lots of tropical fruit and Citrus & is very hop forward & fruity, but retains a nice malt backbone to balance out the Heavy hopping & has minimal to no roast malt in the flavour, more Pale & hoppy West Coast IPA than hoppy stout. Oxymoronic to the Max.
