The Oud Bruin (dutch for old brown), also known as Flanders Brown, is a style of beer originating from the Flemish region of Belgium. This style is less sour and maltier than the traditional Flanders Red. We fermented with a Flemish Blend of yeast and bacteria cultures, including lactobacillus and brettanomyces. This beer has the light aroma of black cherries and pours a dark reddish-brown.
