Common descriptors are
The Smoke Wheat Every Day Grätzer is a beer style composed primarily of oak-smoked wheat. This unusual brew was born centuries ago in the Polish town of Grodzisk. It was developed prior to the advent of lagering, and uses a top-fermenting yeast in its production. The Gratzer Style has virtually disappeared from the world of beer and Marz is hoping to popularize it again due to the coincidental fact that the owners are half Polish. Smoke Wheat Every Day has a light color, a spice apple pie aroma and a light smoked flavor. Many argue that it fits within the sour catergory of beer styles. So we categorized it as one of our South Side Sour line of brews. The slight tartness complements the smoke and the beer begs to be paired with food.
