Three Notch'd Roggenberry German Rye

Three Notch'd Brewing Company
Charlottesville, Virginia
Beer style: Traditional Ale - Other
Ref: ratebeer.com May2024

Common descriptors are
This beer was one of the first batches brewed in our Harrisonburg location, designed by brewer Mary Morgan, we loved it so much we wanted to bring it to Cville. This German ale has a mild spiciness from the rye (roggen), infused with an herbal tea consisting of strawberry leaves, local woodruff from Pebble Hall Wild Flowers in Weyer’s Cave, Virginia, chamomile and honey. The herbs/spice profile is supported by a pleasantly sweet, malty/fruity base, coming primarily from the hearty amount of Munich malt. At only 4.7%, this beer is very drinkable and another perfect patio beer.
