Joe Walsh said it best, "Spent the last year Rocky Mountain Way...couldn’t get much higher". Gold mining in Colorado has been good to me this year so I thought I would celebrate with a beer. We have brewed a Pale Ale using all Colorado ingredients, well all except for the Rocky Mountain Spring Water. We sourced the malt from a small farm and malting company, located in Alamosa, CO in the San Luis Valley. We found a source for Colorado’s other green cash crop...HOPS! Grown on the North Fork of the Gunnison River these organic hops are truly amazing. Yeast comes from Colorado Springs where my friend banks some stellar strains. This is your chance to experience the unique terroir that Colorado imparts to her plants. John Denver summed it up for me with this line, "I know he’d be a poorer man if he never saw an Eagle fly".
