This Black IPA, just like the iconic album it references, is a complex and rich journey that weaves in and out of many different elements yet maintains a cohesive theme. At 7.1% ABV, Dark Side of the Hop gets “On the Run” with a creamy and chocolaty first breath thanks to the addition of midnight wheat. Given some “Time”, Dark Side finishes dry with a crisp hop profile full of piney, earthy and peppery notes accompanied by some rounded fruit characteristics.
