Mount Hood is a triploid seedling of German Hallertau Mittelfrüh and a half sister to Ultra, Liberty and Crystal. It was released in 1989 from the USDA breeding program in Oregon. It is named after the highest point in Oregon, the stratovolcano – Mount Hood
The aroma is mild, herbal and can be pungent and spicy.
