For some, R&D stands for Research & Development. At Calicraft, we think of it as Radical & Delicious. Our new R&D series will feature innovative micro-batch beers dreamed up by Thomas Vo, our resident Mad Scientist.

Westside is the inaugural R&D brew, and it comes out next week. Inspired by summer wheat beers, California citrus, and West Coast IPAs, Westside is dry-hopped with Hallertau Blancs and bittered with pomelo and grapefruit skins. With 5.3% ABV and 35 IBUS, it’s a California take on a wheat beer: complex, hoppy, and hella dope.
