Starting in 1866, beer barons Conrad Windisch and brothers Gottlieb and Heinrich Muhlhauser produced barrel after barrel of great Cincinnati Lager Beer. Brewed in their landmark brewhouse along the Miami and Erie Canal, and lagered in their massive series of cellars deep underground, their beer helped make Cincinnati’s Brewery District a center of American beer production and culture. Windisch-Muhlhauser Commemorative Lager was brewed specifically for the Beer Baron Ball. Brewed in honor of Conrad Windisch, Gottlieb Muhlhauser, and Heinrich Muhlhauser, the beer celebrates the accomplishments of not only the brewers themselves but the family’s commitment to the city through the years.
