A robust porter with just a hint of cherry flavor. Nicely balanced with several unique British malts for a roasty character on the nose. Body is full and finishes very clean on the palate with a lingering presence of dark cherry fruit. Whitbread yeast produces a British style character, slightly fruity, with a hint of sulfur production. This is a nice beer for the holidays and to enjoy with meals or on its own.
Malts: Marris Otter, British Light Crystal, Belgian Special B, Carastan, British Chocolate, Oat Hops: Magnum, Santiam, Glacier Yeast: Whitbread Ale
Adjuncts: D-90 syrup, grape molasses, dried cherries, tart cherry concentrate, Torani cherry syrup.
