Pikes Traditional Kriek…a triple celebration! Pikes Wines aged Shiraz barrels, Joyce’s fresh Lenswood cherries and a Pikes Beer sour ale combine to produce our 2014 vintage Kriek beer!
Amber brown with a deep red hue, aromas of raisin and sour cherry lead into toffee with a hint of oak. Perceived cherry sweetness, subtle vanilla, both tart and sour elements give a ‘sherbet like’ mouth feel. The palate finishes dry from the gentle barrel tannins.
