Ingredients
Optic Pale Ale and chocolate malts and a generous addition of roast barley make up the malt grist. A small amount of cane sugar is added for flavour. Hops are Wye Challenger and English Fuggles.

Nose
A hint of coffee and malt evident.

Palate
Wonderfully complex combining coffee, chocolate and liquorice. Bitterness is mild yet discernable.

Comments
A wonderfully full and complex tasting beer with the appearance and pouring characteristics of a stout. Rich coffee, roast and liquorice flavours combine to give a truly unique and individual beer.
