A ghostly apparition reportedly skirts the shores of New Haven harbor; a whispy widow eternally searching for her lost-at-sea husband. It is truly a sad tale of loss. But hey! At least she's got a beer named after her, huh? Our flagship beer pours in with a citrus, fruity nose and a crisp floral finish that is well balanced with its Pilsner, Munich, and Crystal malt blend. Hops: Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo, Citra 2006 description: This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good. Note: The recipe had changed gradually over time, having started with Cascade and Hallertau, and included Fuggles, other English hops, PNW hops, different malts.
