When Bristol closed in 1999 it moved to Tadcaster. Following ScotCo’s reshuffle in 2004 it was contract brewed by Youngs, returning it to a site on the south bank of the Thames. In January 2007 the Courage brand was purchased by Wells & Youngs and production moved to Bedford.

With over 200 years of brewing pedigree, Courage Best Bitter retains its widespread popularity.

Pale in colour, fully balanced with a malty flavour and distinctive hop character, makes for an easy drinking session beer.
