This dark, almost black ale is brewed with 12 different malts for a very complex palate. Coffee-like roasted malt aromas are prominent in the nose. This stout has a rich, full flavored with a medium body and moderate bitterness. Its caramel and coffee-like character gives way to a disinctive dry-roasted bitterness in the finish.
