The festival beer is a Bavarian specialty beer that is served only in the month of August on the Wiesenfest in Kemnath. The brewing is bottom fermented, full and tasty with a pleasant hop flower. Since it was originally a Thanksgiving drink, it was brewed stronger than other beers.
