Monks originally brewed this beer for sustainability and sustenance. Today, I brew it because it’s delicious. Coming in a little stronger in alcohol than the average beer, the amber color supports the sweet rum-raisiny flavor and a dry finish. Extra carbonation adds a zesty mouthfeel to the experience…Goes great with heavier dishes.
