A rare treat. This beer was made from the second-runnings of our Russian Imperial Stout, which is still aging on Oak and will be released May 18th. Extremely light-bodied and low in alcohol, small beers have been made for centuries. In colonial times, when water was unsafe to drink, small beers were made for morning and afternoon consumption. Unlike those watery, indistinct creations, this beer has distinct roastiness, light creaminess, a hint of caramel and is poured on nitrogen. If you’re looking for a beer with a huge kick, pass this one by. If you’re looking for something to pair with your bacon and eggs (or your business lunch), this is your brew!
