Common descriptors are Bottled; OCcasional. After the success of the launch of the bottled range in November 2009 we decided to start a premium range of bottles to sell as specials. Our first attempt at using a lager yeast and a long maturation process yielded a very pleasing result. Meticulously crafted by our brewers, Stewart’s Dopplebock is a genuine incarnation of the famous German style of strong, dark lager.
Brewed according to ancient ‘Reinheitsgebot’purity laws and principals, using Munich malt and Saaz hops. This ‘Liquid Bread’ has undergone a 90 day cold maturation, before being bottled. A strong, dark beer with sweet, malty and chocolate aromas, drink carefully and savour to appreciate fully.
