The Nicholas’ hop farms in Sandhurst grow 130 acres of 10 different commercial varieties for brewers in the UK and abroad. For our personal interest a few other hops are grown in minute quantities. This beer is brewed with a unique and very unusual blend of: Cascade - an American aromatic variety; Alliance - an old English variety no longer commercially grown of a Fuggle progeny; And a wild hop that was found growing in a hedgerow at Bourne Farm Sandhurst.
