Pot Kettle Black, affectionately known as "PKB", is the only beer to have ever won two BrewNZ categories in a single year (having won the "Stouts and Porters" section AND the "People’s Choice" award at BrewNZ 2009). We are rightly proud of this unique achievement and celebrate the fact, each year, with a single batch of remixed and remastered Pot Kettle Black. This year, following on from our "Stout Mix" of 2009, is a "US Mix" that draws inspiration from the first PKB trial brews conducted in Yeastie Boys’ Wellington lab.

PKB Remix 2010 is a shade bigger in alcohol than its regularly brewed brother and uses several generous doses of US Cascade hops, in both the kettle and the fermenter, to achieve a hop character quite different from the NZ hopped general release. It is brewed with the help of our good friends at Invercargill Brewery and matured to optimum ripeness before being packaged and released for your drinking pleasure. As always we encourage you to appreciate our beer, and other great craft beer, in moderation. Slainte mhath, Stu and Sam.
