Murray’s Imperious is the first in our exclusive "FBB Series" of beers (use your imagination!). At 11% ABV, this experimental Imperial Belgian Blond is the highest abv beer Murray’s has brewed to date. Imperious contains a blend of British and German malts, really fresh New Zealand-grown hops, and a spicy Belgian yeast strain. It has a classic Belgian yeast profile ? strong esters and light phenolics. Fresh tropical hop character, sweet mouthfilling apricot/stonefruit-like flavours at the front of the palate. Warmth from the alcohol, but not overwhelming. Food match - Beautiful with a caramelised stonefruit dessert.
