Plockton Bay has proven to be the flagship beer of the brewery, having sold more casks of it over the past 3 years than any other beer in the fleet. Originally called “An t-Ob” its name proved too difficult to pronounce for all but the best Gaelic speakers and I decided to revert to the English version.
Plockton Bay is a well-balanced tawny-coloured best bitter with plenty of Styrian Goldings hops which provide a bitter-sweet fruity flavour.
