One of our nation’s most regal structures, the Empire State Building features 200,000 cubic feet of Indiana limestone and granite. For this historic construction project the Empire Quarry in Lawrence County was specially chosen to be the sole source of the stately stone.

In tribute we present our bold Empire Imperial Stout, black as night and pouring with a thick tan head. It starts with an espresso-like, malt flavor and finishes smooth and slightly sweet from the addition of molasses in the brewing processs. Like standing at the top of a 102-story skyscraper, Empire is rewarding but not for the faint of heart.
