For the 15th Anniversary of Brewer’s Alley we wanted to do something a little special. We chose to do a Saison because of its “farmhouse” heritage and the fact that this style has traditionally been kept very local. We made this beer with 100% local barley malt from Amber Fields Malting and Brewing Company in Keymar, MD. We also used local honey from HTK Bee Keeping Supplies in Frederick, MD. The malt gives the beer its beautiful amber color as well as the biscuit-like flavors you’ll find in it. The honey helps the beer attain a relatively dry finish.
