A deliberately traditional English Best bitter with no real surprises except it contains more than just traditional English hops. If you usually drink the more modern golden bitters, give this a try for a greater depth of flavour and body. Very drinkable!
Dark amber colour. Marris Otter pale ale malt with some wheat for head retention and crystal malt for colour and body. A blend of five hops from three continents give a slightly more bitter flavour than you might expect from a “Best Bitter”, while still resulting in a well balanced beer. Not too hoppy on the nose.
