The region of Flanders encompasses most of modern day Belgium, with its borders stretching into France and the Netherlands. The Saison beer is as indistinct as the borders of this region. With no modern day versions still present, most breweries brew this beer according to the likes and tastes of the brewer. Our Saison is light orange in color with a full, ripe fruit aroma up front, reminiscent of pears, apples and plums, followed by a dry, slightly tart finish.
