Torulus, our first barrel-aged beer and first bottle release of 2012 is the culmination of nine and a half months of patience and dedication to the craft.

A fresh Elmer T. Lee bourbon barrel was filled in September of 2011 with our Ex Umbris, a 10.2% ABV Rye Imperial Stout.

For this limited release, we have two special options. We packaged forty-eight 12 oz bottles of "straight" stout - as bourbony as it gets and six-hundred 22 oz bottles of "the blend", the brewmaster’s mix of barrel-aged bourbon stout and fresh Ex Umbris.
