Fire Hole Chili Porter is the pride and joy of our brewer. This beer is a beautiful union of sweet and spicy. While most chili beers are in your face peppery, we went for subtle. This porter first washes over your palate with chocolate, coffee and caramel flavors. Then you swallow and think, “Where’s the Chili?” But then it happens – the heat from the Japanese Red Chilies begins to tickle the back of your tongue reminding you how perfectly sweet and spice go together without assaulting your senses.
