This beer was made in collaberation with a group of local homebrewers, Mad Mullet Brewing Company. The beer is a California Common made with Bradley’s Country Store corn grits (cracked corn) and cracked white peppercorns. Most American verions of this medium bodied, malty, dark amber beer have a noticable hop bitterness. Our version uses the corn grits to lighten the body and color, and the peppercorns for just a touch of bitterness.
