Boneyard Brewing is launching with a gorgeous hop-driven golden ale. Aptly named Golden Ale, this perky little fellow is bright, lively and delicious. Think stone fruit, citrus and grape aromas with a nice hit of bitterness for good measure. If it were a person, it’s the kind you could take it to your cousin’s wedding in lieu of a date – it will charm your best friend, do the chicken dance with your parents, keep you smiling all night long and look damn good in the photos. Try it with seafood dishes, particularly those with a good spice character. The sweetness and brightness of the beer also works wonderfully with mild meat dishes like beef carpaccio, and the hoppy characteristics are ideal for cutting through fried food – try cauliflower pakoras or crispy school prawns. The perfect match? Well it has to be Singapore Black Pepper Crab. The sweetness of the crab meat with that spicy hit of pepper just sings when you put it together with the beer.
